Energihotellet is beautifully situated in Nesflaten with a spectacular view of the Suldal lake . The hotel was built in the 1960s as a facility to accomodate guests of Hydros Røldal Suldal Powerstation . Famed norwegian architect Geir Grung designed not only the hotel but the entire powerstation and it´s surroundings. Influenced by Asian architecture Grung designed the hotel with large floor to cealing windows,  all facing the Suldal lake allowing for the uniqe concept that all the hotel rooms have the same view.

The hotel was refurbished in 2007 by the renowned architectural firm Helen and Hard, Energihotellet (literally the energy hotel) has 14 double rooms and can accomodate 28 people.

We serve a delicious breakfast based on local ingredients with our own home made bread and jam. Dinner can be arranged for groups and we have an extensive wine cellar and we also brew our own beer. Energihotellet is the perfect location to explore Suldal and  the surrounding mountains, valleys and fjords.
